Earl E Shenk started the business, in October 1933. Grinding feed on the farm was his first venture. Later he bought and operated threshing machines, which led to the purchase of a combine. He also did forage harvesting and hay cutting. In the late 1950’s the first corn sheller was built. In October 1960 Earl passed away. At that point the business became a partnership, known as EE SHENK & SONS.
During the 1960’s the grinding part of the business grew to 13 portable feed processors, and the corn shelling business began to grow as well. In the spring of 1969, the business sold the forage harvesting equipment, and in the early 1970’s, bought the first tractor trailer.
In January 2006, we incorporated and became known as EE SHENK SONS, INC. Today, we have expanded our trucking versatility to serve our customers’ needs.
